An antique brass cased large campaign marine barometer in presentation case c.1880. Made by Armstrong & Sons of Deansgate, Manchester(w.1875-1900). Silvered engraved dial bearing the maker's name. Altimeter to the surround. Polished cast brass case surround. Mahogany presentation case with convex glass front cover. Full working order. Case measures 4.25" x 5.25" x 1.5"deep, barometer measures 2.25" diameter x 4" high with hanging loop x 1.25" deep. Stock no. 36725.
