Antique Bronze Table Top Thermometer

A Late 19th Century Bronze column table top thermometer c.1885. Made by Joseph Long of London(w.1820 - 1900). Original bone scale with mercury action thermometer, bearing the maker's name. Gilt ormolu mounts to the pillars and decorative cast pediment to the top. Sat on a polished mahogany stepped base. Full working order. Measures 5.5" wide x 3.5" deep x 9.5" high. Stock no. 36539.
