7' 6" Persian Pure Wool Runner

A fine quality Persian 'Kashan' pure wool runner with deep hand knotted pile c.1920. Medallion to the centre set against a soft red ground with champagne border forming a panel, plus half panels set to each end. Panels of navy blue set either side with interlinked floral decoration. Triple border to the outer edge with navy background to the centre section and teal blue floral decoration.
