19th Century Striking & Repeating Cased Carriage Clock
A Top Quality Late 19th Century gilt brass swept case carriage clock in the original case.c.1890. French 8 Day movement striking on the hour and half with repeater and alarm. Porcelain dial with marcasite jewels to the surround, alarm dial below. Gilt filigree decoration to the top and base with scroll handle to the top. Complete in the original leather front opening case with key. Full working order. Measures 3.75" x 3"deep x 6.5"high with handle up(5" down). Case measures 4" x 3.75"deep x 6.25"high.
