A 19th Century oil on canvas portrait of a gentleman, Captain William Robert Ward (1791-1883). Signed to the lower right and dated December 1869. Also marked to the back 'From Alic to Mary Prest'. Very well painted. In a good timber and plaster frame. Measures 25" x 29" x 2.5"deep. Stock no.31702.
