19th Century Irish Ship's Barometer
A 19th Century Irish oak Ship's barometer made by George Prescott & Co of Dublin (w.1883-4). Crescent shaped thermometer to the dial with weather predictions sat around the outer edge. Fine carved solid oak rope twist casing with brass wall mounting plates to the top and base. Fully serviced and working, presented in immaculate condition with a rich colour and original patina. Measures 9" diameter x 2.5" deep x 11" high. Stock number 41086.
