1950's Kienzle Mechanical World Clock
A 1950's Kienzle mechanical world time clock in superb original condition, fully serviced and working. This early mechanical version designed by Heinrich Johannes Möller with original patinated grained brass casework. Brass dial with painted relief displaying a world map and lines leading down to the crescent shaped world clock set in the bottom half of the dial; applied brass Roman numerals and original hands. Convex glass sat over the dial, the 8 day movement with platform escapement fully serviced and working. Adjuster for setting the time and world time along with built in winder ...and time keeping adjustment. Presented in excellent original condition with a perfect dial and original patinated brass finish to the casework. Measures 10" diameter x 11.5" high x 2.5" deep at the foot. Stock number 41860.
