1930's Phillips 6" Globe
A 1930's Phillips of London 6" paper mache globe on the original art deco style Bakelite base. Square black polished Bakelite base with stepped platform sat diagonally across. Crescent shaped polished brass axis supporting the globe and allowing it to revolve. The original paper mache globe in excellent condition and bearing the makers label for George Phillips & Sons, Fleet Street, London. Presented in excellent condition with a rich patina. Measures 5" square at the base x 6.5" wide x 8" high. Stock number 40714.
