A superb Philips of London globe and atlas with chrome axis on oak stand. Paper mache 8" British Empire globe bearing the makers lable for George Philips of 32 Fleet Street London; in good original. Supported by a chromium plated axis on a turned pillar. Stepped golden oak plinth with storage space for atlas below. Includes faux brown leather bound atlas ' The New Pictorial Atlas Of The World ' published by Odhams Press Ltd, and of the same period. Measures 16" high. x 12" wide. x 8" deep. Stock Number 32824.
