1930's Philips 8" Terrestrial Globe

An original 1930's Phillips 8" paper mache terrestrial globe on turned ebonised timber foot. The 8" paper mache 'Empire globe' showing the British Empire in red in superb condition with good unfaded colour and clarity, with no scratches or losses; mounted in a crescent shaped patinated brass axis. The Original turned ebonised timber foot with wide base and urn shaped column above. The globe bearing the makers label for George Phillips, 32 Fleet Street, London.
