1930's Philips 6" Terrestrial Globe
A 1930's Philips 6" papier mache terrestrial globe on turned ebonised foot, in original unrestored condition. Wide turned timber foot with urn shaped column above and original patinated ebonised finish. Brass crescent shaped axis above supporting the globe. The 6" paper mache globe in good original condition with clearly visible detail and original patina; revolving in the axis for viewing. Bears the maker's label for George Phillips & Sons, Fleet Street, London. Presented in good original condition with original unrestored finish. Measures 10" high x 6.75" wide x 4.75" diameter at... the foot. Stock number 39667.
