A 1920's Moorcroft fish design salt glazed jug in mint condition. Bulbous centre and flared ring turned foot, matching flared rim with formed pouring lip to one side and generous handle to the other. ...Decorated with a continuous band of swimming fish set on a cream background with blue painted decoration and salt glazed finish. Bears the signature for William Moorcroft along with impressed Moorcroft mark to the base. Presented in immaculate condition with no damage or repairs. Measures 7" high x 5" diameter x 7" wide including handle. Stock number 36849.
