1920's Italian Embossed Leather Box
A superb quality 1920's Italian embossed tan leather table box with hand decorated gilt decoration in an unique patented design. The tan leather exterior embossed to form small square panels, each panel with gilded flower to the centre. The design is repeated to all sides of the box with a green and gilt shield to the centre of the lid. The hinged lid opening to reveal polished walnut interior in mint condition. Leather underside with small brass studs to the corners forming the feet. Superb quality and condition with a rich patina. Stamped 'Brevettato' Measures 8.5" wide x ...6" deep x 3" high.
