A superb quality 1920`s bronze by Austrian artist Bruno Zach 1891-1935 (click to go to artist wikipedia page). Depicting ...a nude young woman dancing with a tambourine in the hand. Superb detail and patination, with a signature to the base of Prof Tuch (a pseudonym used by the artist). Mounted on the original stepped veined marble plinth. Bruno Zach was born in the Ukraine and emigrated to Austria, this work being typical of the artist in the Art Deco style. He became a prolific creator of tall athletic women cast in bronze and ivory. This outstanding piece is presented in superb original condition with a wonderful patina. Measures 27.5" high x 11" wide x 9.5" diameter at the base. Stock number 39111.
