Our stock focuses on pre 1700 through to the George V era with a wide variety of furniture, mirrors, silverware, ceramics, rugs, metalware and desktop antiques. In addition, all our barometers, barographs and clocks are fully serviced and sold with a guarantee within the UK; providing our customers with peace of mind regarding their purchases.
Our antiques are complemented by a range of throws, cushions and contemporary lamps, offering something to suit any room setting.

Peter’s passion for antiques, combined with his ability to ‘create the look’ within room settings, provides customers with an invaluable and trustworthy service when buying from Sturman’s Antiques.
He has a ‘hands on’ approach to running the business and is assisted by a dedicated team of staff, who support Peter in the shop and through an inhouse delivery service.
Hawes and Yorkshire Dales
The market town of Hawes is situated in beautiful Wensleydale, part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, which is located in northern England.
Hawes dates back to at least the 14th century when it was established as a market place. A street and cattle market is still held every Tuesday and there are a variety of shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants and galleries within the town.
The local countryside provides popular walking destinations, with the Pennine Way running through Hawes.
Local visitor attractions include Wensleydale Creamery, Gayle Mill and the Dales Countryside Museum.
Hardraw Force waterfall is nearby - England’s highest single fall waterfall. In addition the famous Ribblehead viaduct, which forms part of the Settle to Carlisle railway, is also close to Hawes offering one of the most scenic rail journeys in the country.
